Nice to meet you,
My specialty is capturing and creating content, documenting the stories of the many people who make up a community. As my first journalism professor announced in my 8 a.m. class, “You will be the first rough draft of history!”
Everything from daily police reporting in a bustling metro to small-town “Business of the Month” features have honed my craft in photojournalism and communications. I also have experience in a broad variety of multimedia, where opportunities took me between news radio and print publications.
In the past, I’ve won a few awards for my work with the K-State Collegian while studying for my bachelor’s degree. One highlight to mention is when the Great Plains Journalism Association selected me as a finalist for Photographer of the Year in 2019.
